Resumé - Introduction
A graduate from Concordia University (class of 81) with a Bachelor in Computer Science, I have worked in the IT world for over 40 years. I have worked in the Aerospace, Military, Pulp and Paper, Physical Distribution, and Finance sectors specializing in the design, development and implementation of various database applications and systems.
I have worked with various database engines over the years including Sybase, Oracle, DB2, Cincom TOTAL, and MS SQL on numerous operating systems including IBM MVS, UNIX (VMS, XENIX, AIX, ULTRIX, LINUX), Sperry EXEC, TANDEM GAURDIAN, Digital VMS, and Microsoft Windows.
My passion is web design and websites driven by a kick ass database!
Another passion is music! I love listening and playing music. That's why I have created a website called MikeMusicBox.comthat is intended to be a resource center for musicians of all abilities who are looking for accurate guitar tabs, instructional videos and helpful information.
I also have a YouTube channel where I publish musoic videos of my own compositions and interpretations of some of my favourite songs.
